Assignment 2 DOF and Motion

                                                                                 DOF1

In this photo I tried to frame the persons head in the outline of the goal net. I got the goal net out of focus creating a blurred effect and shallow depth of field with a small F stop number.

DOF2

In this image I placed the ball as the centre of attention and blurred the background to make sure the ball and leg are all the priority in the image.

DOF3

In this image I placed the camera to the left of the dodge logo and made it so the focus slowly disappears. It's in focus enough where you can still read it, but it adds a nice composition including leading lines.

DOF4

This image is a photo I've taken of one of my fragrance bottles that is shaped as a robot and placed two plants in front and behind. I have blurred both plants and kept the robot as main focus.

Motion1

In this photo I took of someone kicking a ball. I set a high shutter speed in order to freeze motion. A little bit of editing and I made the colors pop for my contrast as well as removing some distractions in the foreground.

Motion2

In this photo the subject is mid bicep curl. I positioned it in front of the mirror to create a more cinematic effect and also two perspectives in one photo.

Motion3

In this image I have frozen the image as the subject was about to set up for a kick. I placed the camera below the subject to make them feel more imposing and powerful.

Motion4

In this image the subject is winding up to kick the ball. There is a slight blur in the hand and planting foot, but I have chosen to keep it as it shows the speed at which the player is moving.
